Located in the historic Market in downtown Charleston, this Charleston single house is centrally located within walking distance to shops and restaurants and next door to Olde Towne Carriage Co. Palmer's Pinckney Inn is owned by Charleston native Francess Palmer.
Palmer's Pinckney Inn has five bedrooms with their own private bath (two with Jacuzzi tubs!). We have four bedrooms with King size beds, and one bedroom with a Queen size bed.
All of our rooms can accommodate two people. Four of the bedrooms have gas fireplaces for your enjoyment! Two rooms are located on the first floor of the house and the others are on the second floor. Stair climbing is required! Off-street parking is available for our guests at no extra cost!

Breakfast is continental and includes bagels, coffee, juice, and the necessary condiments. Guests are welcome to join our other guests at our sister property, The Palmer Home, located at 5 East Battery, for full breakfast. There is an additional fee of $15 per couple.
For their own safety and for the consideration of other guests, children under the age of ten are not allowed to stay overnight at our establishment. Please see the page listed "Pets Welcome" for information on bringing your pets.
Reservations
To make a reservation, we do require a one night deposit on a credit card (Visa, American Express, or MasterCard). We cannot hold a room without a deposit!
Cancellations Our cancellation policy requires two weeks notice prior to your date of
arrival. There will be a $25 handling fee per room(per night) for any
cancellations. If a cancellation is made within two weeks of your arrival
date we cannot refund your deposit. Gift certificates fall under the same
cancellation poicy (fees will be deducted from amount of balance). Upon
arrival, we do not give refunds for early check outs and the entire
balance is due. Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced!
Hurricane Policy
We understand and respect the concern and apprehension that may arise from an approaching hurricane.
If the weather service issues a hurricane advisory or warning for the Charleston, SC area:
Guests residing at the inn may choose to evacuate. In this case, we will charge only for those nights spent with us up to the time of the evacuation.
For those guests with pending arrivals, we would retain the deposit and credit it to a future stay.
If there is NO hurricane advisory or warning for the Charleston, SC area (i.e. there is not an imminent threat): For vacation to be cancelled because a hurricane "might" make landfall near Downtown Charleston or that there "might" be an aftermath, deposits will NOT be refunded and will NOT be credited to a future stay.
If a hurricane has made landfall and The Palmer Home (or downtown Charleston) is not "fit" for guests: For guests with pending reservations affected by such a situation, we would retain the deposit and apply it to a future stay.
